This blog has two major purposes:
1 – To determine the exact rules as written (RAW) for various editions of Mage: the Ascension;
2 – To determine how much latitude for interpretation existed for various specific rules.
Obviously, the rules were written to be very vague, and the designers refused to clarify many questions on grounds that they did not want to stifle player creativity. However, they did say things like, “If you can throw hellfire on Main Street without taking Paradox, you’re no longer playing in the World of Darkness.”
This blog was started to deal with tabletop role-playing related to the “World of Darkness” but rapidly got side-tracked into technology.
It remains to be seen whether this blog will accomplish anything whatsoever.
